What age is Camp Google for?
Camp Google is geared towards kids ages 7-10, but with proper supervision, Camp Google is open to kids of all ages.
Does my kid need to register or have a Google Account to participate?
Nope. You don't need to register your kid or have an account to participate. Camp Google is designed to get kids outside exploring and experimenting with fun science activities.
What does Camp Google cost?
Camp Google is a free, online camp for everyone. However, some of the activities do require using common household items so check back to see the list of items in advance.
We're going out of town one of the weeks, will that be a problem?
Camp activities will remain open so you and your kid can always look back and relive the experience. Have a great vacation.
How much of Camp Google needs to be done with a parent around or with a parent's help?
The activities on Camp Google are designed for kids, but we encourage families to come together and share in the fun. Parents can always view activities beforehand.
Ok, we're in but wondering who helped create content for Camp Google?
We worked with engineers at Google, educational organizations like Khan Academy and content specialists like National Geographic Kids, NASA and National Parks to develop smart, engaging content for kids to see the potential of science. We also consulted with The Family Online Safety Institute.
